| Before Darkness Falls by J. Allen Wilson BEFORE DARKNESS FALLS is a book of poetry and prose that deals with real life issues that all of mankind comes to face. War, Hate, injustice and redemption. Some of the poems deal with the tenderness of love, while others speak aloud of social injustice. In this, the author attempts to reach the heart and the soul of the reader through poetic verse, which at times deals with the terse emotions of loss through the passing of a loved one and the joy of knowing that this earthly separation is just temporal. For a much greater hope awaits those of faith. In some instances, he presents a fascinatingly dark side of the individual soul and its remorseful cry for salvation. For it is through darkness that the light of truth shines its brightest. The author through his words holds forth this light in a sometimes darkened world.
